She didn't dare to dream of an education, now Rocio is at university studying psychology, thanks to NPH.

My name is Rocio. I am 20 years old, and I am part of the NPH family. I came to NPH Guatemala on October 11, 2005 when I was ten. I came to NPH along with my brother because of extreme poverty and conflicts in our family.
When I came to NPH and felt the love of this family, my life changed. I started to study and now I am in university. My dream is to graduate as a psychologist and help lots of children. Before coming to NPH I didn’t think I would be able to go to school past primary age – let alone dream that I could go to college. If it wasn’t for NPH, I don’t know what my life would be like.
I thank God for the great family of NPH Guatemala. Now I am a person who takes advantages of opportunities, and I’m grateful every day that I work in the sponsorship/godparent department as assistant to the coordinator.
Who I am now and who I will be in the future, I owe to God and Father William Wasson, the man who founded NPH and whom I was lucky enough to meet when I was very young.
